Plain-language privacy policy
This policy explains what FrightTour collects, when optional analytics runs and what third parties may receive.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, FrightTour’s hosting provider may process basic technical records such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. These records support website delivery, reliability and abuse prevention.
Information you provide
FrightTour does not currently operate a public submission form. If a contact or newsletter form is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the information requested, why it is needed and how it is handled.
Optional Google Analytics
FrightTour uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor selects “Accept analytics.” Until consent is given, the Google Analytics script is not requested and no FrightTour analytics cookies are set. Visitors may reject analytics and continue using the entire site.
When accepted, Google Analytics may process information about pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device characteristics, referring source, scrolling and outbound-link activity. FrightTour also records broad outbound-link categories—such as attraction, map or affiliate links—to understand which resources are useful. FrightTour does not intentionally send names, email addresses or other directly identifying form data to Google Analytics.
Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in FrightTour’s analytics configuration. A visitor can change the choice at any time using “Privacy choices” in the site footer. Rejecting analytics stops future collection in that browser; previously processed data remains subject to Google’s retention and deletion practices.
Advertising
Google AdSense is not active on FrightTour as of September 30, 2026. If display advertising is introduced, this policy and the site’s consent controls will be updated before ads are activated where required.
External services and links
The site links to attraction operators, maps, tourism resources and other third-party websites. Those services have their own privacy practices. FrightTour also loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which requires a visitor’s browser to connect to Google’s servers.
Affiliate and sponsored links
Affiliate links and sponsored placements are labeled. Clicking an affiliate link may allow the destination service to recognize the referral. With analytics consent, FrightTour records the product category selected—but not the Amazon tracking query string—to understand which recommendations are useful. Children
FrightTour is a general-audience planning website and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the site adds contact forms, advertising or other services. The updated date at the top of the page will change when material revisions are made.
